ABRSM and Music for Youth

Music for Youth and ABRSM have been working together since 1995 to support young musicians across the country.

Music for Youth is a national music education charity providing free access to performance and audience opportunities for young musicians throughout the UK.

Regional festivals

ABRSM sponsors Music for Youth's regional festivals, which are open access and free for the ensembles to perform in. All types of groups of all levels of experience are welcome - at any one festival you could see choirs, brass bands, jazz groups and steel pan bands taking to the stage.

ABRSM’s support has enabled Music for Youth to expand and develop the series, providing a local platform to thousands of young instrumentalists and singers.
